LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Today’s parents and caregivers are facing a complex mix of pressures. Constant digital noise. Social media overload. Growing concerns about youth mental health. Evolving risks tied to fentanyl, emerging synthetics, and the broader illicit drug supply. Yet public health departments are still expected to respond without the budgets or staff needed to build effective parent-activation tools.
Join us for a complimentary webinar on how to engage and empower parents, caregivers, and adult role models to strengthen their influence, even when resources are limited. You’ll learn the core strategy and evidence behind our parent-focused approach called “Let’s Talk,” a campaign built to cut through the complexity and equip parents, adult caregivers, and adult role models with the essential skills to serve as their children’s strongest buffer against today’s health harms.
You'll learn how to:
✅ Understand the Barriers Holding Parents & Teens Back: Explore why parents and caregivers aren’t having effective drug overdose prevention conversations with their teens. And dive deeper into why teens don’t have an accurate perception of the risk of drug overdoses today.
✅ Make the Conversation Easier—Instead of Adding to the Overwhelm: Understand why lengthy guides aren’t always the answer, and what you can do instead to help parents and caregivers rather than add to their overwhelming to-do list.
✅ Implement a Full Campaign to Make an Immediate Impact: Learn how to bring a full, evidence-based campaign to life in your community in as little as six weeks to activate parents and caregivers immediately, even if you have a limited budget.
