Behind the Haze | "The Great Manipulator"

Introducing our newest ad from the Behind the Haze Campaign: "The Great Manipulator." This new licensable Message Package explains that vaping nicotine can put teens' mental health at risk.

Behind the Haze | "Defenseless"

New studies show that common vaping ingredients like propylene glycol, glycerin, and metal particles mess with the protective fat lining in your lungs. Without it, invaders (like viruses) and toxins can reach your air sacs and are more likely to cause serious infections. Regardless of whether the vape contains nicotine, THC, or neither, vaping decreases the body’s ability to fight off infections such as the flu, a leading cause of pneumonia.

my life my quit | "end the cycle"

This new ad shows how quickly nicotine addiction can take over teens’ lives, limiting their independence and making it difficult to stop vaping without support. This ad and the corresponding campaign highlight the free tools and resources provided by My Life My Quit to help teens regain their independence from vaping, no matter their reason for quitting. Teens can easily sign up on the website or simply text the number to get started.

Escape the Vape Hawaiʻi | "Vape Money"

Vape companies refuse to come clean about how harmful their products are. Take a look.

UNHYPED | "FLASH DRIVE"

It looks like a flash drive. It tastes like mango. But do a little digging, and you'll realize vaping hides a scary reality. Watch and learn.

Educational Video: Teen Vaping and COVID: What's Different? What's the Same?

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, teens’ attitudes, behaviors, and knowledge about vaping have changed. To better understand these changes, Rescue’s research team conducted focus groups in 2 states with 86 participants before COVID and compared the data to 46 online interviews in 2 states after COVID. While some teens reported decreased vaping usage—due to more parental oversight, fewer peer interactions, and more—others have increased their use.

Educational Video: Teen Vaping Prevention Messages That Work

Teen vaping continues to rise across the country. Without effective intervention, we are facing a new generation of nicotine addiction. That’s why we feel it is so important to share our latest science and strategies with our fellow tobacco prevention colleagues. Our previous video, Trends of Teen Vaping, looked at the science of which teens are most at-risk of vaping. Our new video builds on that knowledge by discussing three different vaping prevention messages we have tested with teens. Watch the video to learn more.
