Stronger Starts Webinar FINAL

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Nearly 50% of children aged 0-17 in the U.S. face adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)1, or potentially traumatic events that occur during childhood, such as abuse, neglect, or household dysfunction, which can have lasting effects on their health and well-being throughout life. Supporting children through harmful events like ACEs can positively influence a wide range of health outcomes over time, such as reducing mental health challenges, minimizing substance use, and improving overall well-being, ultimately creating a healthier, more resilient generation and breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma.

First 5 California Executive Director Jackie Thu-Huong Wong will join experts from Rescue Agency to show how to effectively educate parents and caregivers about the benefits of addressing ACEs early and how to take essential steps to buffer against the impacts of the toxic stress response.

You’ll leave this complimentary, 60-minute webinar with a better understanding of how to:

  • Dive deep into the knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and intentions discovered from parents and caregivers during formative research.
  • Transform research insights into a behavior change strategy that resonates with overwhelmed and often underserved parents and caregivers.
  • Empower parents and caregivers with daily actions that can prevent ACEs and buffer against toxic stress response.
Save your seat today so you don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights to help you create an effective behavior change campaign that gives children a stronger start in life.
