OVERVIEW

This training session provides an overview of preventative cannabis messaging for priority populations like Parents and Pregnancy & Breastfeeding adults. Participants will learn about best messaging practices regarding safe storage and preventative use that are strategically backed by research.

Using these insights from Rescue's cannabis audience research, the session will examine parent and pregnant & breastfeeding audience perceptions of cannabis, highlighting factors that influence their attitudes and behaviors towards its use. The training will also discuss potential risks associated with cannabis consumption and its impact on the population’s health and the role they play as parents, emphasizing the importance of prevention strategies.

This training will include practical messaging strategies tailored to effectively engage with parents and pregnant & breastfeeding audiences, promoting informed decision-making regarding cannabis with an emphasis placed on clear communication about the risks and the need to make informed decisions to prevent negative impacts on younger children.

  • Safe Storage: Attendees will learn best practices for storing cannabis products, promoting effective strategies that minimize risks and ensure the safety of children and other vulnerable individuals in their home environments.
