LEARNING OBJECTIVES

In 2022, the U.S. experienced a 25% increase in cannabis use among teenagers compared to 2021, according to The Monitoring the Future study, NIDA. However, not all teens are the same, and not all teens are at equal risk for underage cannabis use. To maximize the impact of your health communications funding, it’s crucial to focus on those who are most at risk for cannabis misuse and to increase the risk perception of underage cannabis use to counter years of pro-cannabis messaging.

At Rescue, we’ve conducted research with teens across multiple states to identify those who need our prevention and harm reduction messages and to create campaigns that are relevant to their lived experiences.

In our new 1-hour webinar, we'll share these research insights and explain how to make the most impact in your community. You'll learn how to:

  • Identify the teens most at risk for cannabis use by understanding how adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), among other risk factors, can impact teen cannabis use
  • Apply research insights on cannabis risk perceptions and behaviors in your behavior change campaign approach
  • Tailor your campaign strategy to reach the modern-day teen
